Following the\u00a0removal of a tooth, there is a large hole left in the extraction site. The area resorbs and\u00a0collapses. In order to preserve the extraction socket, dentists\u00a0place a bone graft. This is very important especially when an implant will be placed. In these photos I demonstrate the placement of a bone graft and collagen membrane following a surgical extraction.<\/p>\n
